Commercial/Industrial Recycling

Commercial Waste Services has helped thousands of businesses reduce cost and landfill material by assessing and implementing recycling recycling programs

throughout Southern California.  Commercial Waste Services accomplishes this by doing site visits to identify what commodities, businesses are able to recycle.  Due to the fact that every business is unique and different, please contact us to receive a complementary consultation.

Construction and Demolition Recycling

As of 2013 Commercial Waste Services has been exclusively approved to operate as a construction and demolition material recovery facility in the city of Montebello. Commercial Waste Services currently recycles over 80% of mixed materials brought into the facility. Recycling is especially important because it diverts valuable commodities from being disposed of into landfills.

Assembly Bill (AB) 341 FAQ

When will the regulations be adopted?

The Mandatory Commercial Recycling Regulation was approved by the Office of Administrative Law on May 7, 2012.  Please see the Regulations page for more information.

What is the schedule for complying with the regulations?

On and after July 1, 2012, businesses are required to recycle, and jurisdictions will need to implement a program that includes education, outreach, and monitoring.  The regulations also allow for phased-in implementation (see related questions).  Jurisdictions are required to report in the 2012 Electronic Annual Report (due August 1, 2013) on their initial education, outreach, and monitoring efforts, and, if applicable, on any enforcement activities or exemptions implemented by the jurisdiction.

If you have any questions regarding compliance or if you want a free site consultation to help comply and save money please email us info@cwrservices.com or visit the contact page.
